Volunteer Program

Thank you for your interest in the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation Volunteer program.

There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available within our team. From helping with adoption events to transporting animals to forever homes and from distributing flyers to fostering a companion pet, the varied scale and nature of our work means that the amount of time you commit is only dependent on your own schedule and availability.

One of the main areas where we require assistance is in the support of our internal rescue group, the Heigl Hounds Of Hope, where volunteers regularly help with tasks such as walking the dogs or transporting them to veterinary appointments.

Additionally, our Date With A Dog initiative allows volunteers to spend time with our dogs on a weekly basis. If you are interested in getting to know a four-legged friend this would be a great way to do it.

The support and dedication of our volunteers is not only vital to our work but also to the lives of the animals in our care. We welcome any level of commitment you are able to offer.

To get involved, please complete our volunteer questionnaire which helps us determine how to best place you in a role that fits your availability, experience and areas of interest. We would encourage you to add any comments or additional information that you feel is appropriate.

Please contact us if you have any questions about volunteering for the Heigl Foundation.

We look forward to having you as part of our team.
