We have had a number of questions about Sochi and Adler, our Russian rescue dogs, who are looking for temporary fosters for the duration of their quarantine period. There are a number of rules and regulations governing their care, so we thought it best to let potential fosters know the sort of environment that is required for the two adorable pups. Please get in touch if you think you can help!

We are looking for volunteers in the Los Angeles area to foster some of our amazing Heigl Hounds while we search for homes for them. Fostering involves opening your home to an animal in need on a temporary basis, to provide food, water, shelter and most importantly personal care and attention. Dogs thrive and are healthier in a loving environment. Interested? Check out the details after the jump.

Many of you have been following the story of Sochi and Adler over the past few days and will be aware of the two pups rescued from Russia this weekend. We wanted to give everyone an update on the health of the dogs, address some confusion about the transport process and answer some of the common questions that we have received from those of you who have been touched by their story.

JDHF co-founders Katherine Heigl and Nancy Heigl visited Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday afternoon to complete a very special rescue! They were there to greet two dogs that had travelled all the way from Sochi, Russia, with E! News Olympics correspondent Ali Fedotowsky, and to help find loving homes for them.
