JustOne & Orapup Unveil Video Starring Katherine Heigl To Benefit Homeless Animals

JustOne, a pet product line founded by Emmy Award-winning actress Katherine Heigl and her mother, Nancy Heigl, and – Orapup, the first tongue cleaner to beat bad dog breath today unveiled a video to raise awareness and funds for the 7 million companion animals that are abandoned or surrendered to shelters across the U.S. each year.

We have had a number of questions about Sochi and Adler, our Russian rescue dogs, who are looking for temporary fosters for the duration of their quarantine period. There are a number of rules and regulations governing their care, so we thought it best to let potential fosters know the sort of environment that is required for the two adorable pups. Fostering A Heigl Hound

Foster A Heigl Hound

We are looking for volunteers in the Los Angeles area to foster some of our amazing Heigl Hounds while we search for homes for them. Fostering involves opening your home to an animal in need on a temporary basis, to provide food, water, shelter and most importantly personal care and attention. Transport To A New Life

It has been a busy start to 2014 for the Heigl Foundation’s transport team! In January alone, over 200 cats and dogs were relocated from high kill shelters in the Los Angeles area – where they were at imminent risk of euthanisia, to new homes and new lives in locations across the United States.
