On Sunday, June 16, 2013, April Mixon will once again run the Vancouver USA marathon to raise funds for the JDHF. For the second successive year she is supporting our mission to save homeless pets and end animal cruelty. Discover how you can help April beat her target of $1023 set in 2012!
Two amazing companies, Lulu Dew and California Linen Services, have stepped up to help us with a generous donation of cloth diapers and towels to assist our animal transport program. Find out how their kindness has helped pets with their relocation from high kill shelters in Los Angeles to no-kill organizations in regions where demand for adoptable pets exceeds supply.
We can never truly express how grateful the Heigl Foundation is for the continued work of our volunteers, but in conjunction with this quarters newsletter we would like to thank Rick Molony for his tireless efforts and ongoing dedication to our transport program. An initiative that owes its success to the ongoing commitment of Rick and the team.
