On June 10th, 50 dogs from the City of San Bernardino Animal Control Shelter in California were given a second chance at life when they were transported from the high kill shelter to out of state rescues that do not euthanize animals in their care. The transport of the group was organized by animal welfare organization H.E.A.L and funded by the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation.
